My mother was going through some old school books and projects of mine. She found this writing project I had to do for history in 2003. That is five Years ago! Wow..anyways, Below are the scanned pictures of my project.
In case you can't read what the documents say, here is what it says.
Silville
So there you have it. A little piece of history.
I started school monday. For the first time I am going to a school for my work. I survived, at the first day. We will see if I survive the second! I have started a second blog to talk specifically about my school stuff. I am also trying to make a little bit of money off of it. You can check it out at youvejustbeenschooled.blogspot.com. I will be adding the link to the links on the right hand side if you don't feel like typing. Have a good ya'll!
The town is named Silville after the founder of the manner, lord Silva.
The Beginning
Well, it all started on September 15th, 1285. 3 traders stopped to stay the off season. They asked lord Silva and he said, yes. When it came time to leave one of the traders decided to stay. One month later 2 farmers came and settled.
The Young Town
A year later a peasent family settled. Six months later another peasent family settled. In 1299 another famiy settled.
The Bulging town
The next two years the town grew and grew untill it could not fit in the walls so they started building outside of the walls. Also a butcher, a blacksmith and a baker.
The Charter
Finally on June 1290 the town got it's Carter after 3 months with the original trader that started the (turn page) town, one of the oregenal farmers, and the blacksmith.
Do you know how hard it was for me not to correct my Grammar and spelling errors as I typed that? Its interesting to see how far I've come since then. Even though I'm not all that great at grammar and spelling now. It is typed as it was written. You may cringe. lol Next is the map that I drew to go with it.
