Its raining its poring, the old man is snoring

Hey guys! Yesterday was interesting. WE all got up and got ready for church...just like normal. WE jump in the car to leave and daddy remembers that the cars windshield wipers don't work well and it is raining..and is supposed to rain all day. So we do a quick car swap..into the one with the bad transmission. We get a mile up the road and daddy turns around because he doesn't want to risk getting stranded. We didn't go anywhere to church yesterday morning bc of the lack of transpertation. I found it odd..very odd. Last night we did go some where. But daddy stayed home and the rest of us went. THen we went to mcdonalds as normal afterwords and momma got to talk to one of her friends for a lil bit. It was an intersting day to say the least. I hope it doesn't happen again soon.

Have any interesting Car stories? HAve any jokes that talk about cars? anyone out there have other words for the song mentioned in the title? If you have an answer to any or all these questions, please comment! I love hearing bout them!

Thanksgiving...do we really take it for granted?

Most of us probably had at least one Thanksgiving sermon yesterday. Some of us even had a testimonial service. I have found that I took one peice of convience for granted until the cold snap this year. We had no heat for several weeks. It took a lot of thinking to keep warm...you used several blankets, you took showers during the hottest part of the day and left the door closed so the steam would heat up the room, and you made sure to dress warmly..and change quickly. I Am also thankful that the Lord still works with his children. I had a friend recently who was in some trouble and refused to come out of it. Now it seems things are looking up. I pray that it will conitnue!

What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Any interesting traditions?

Puppies, teeth, and churches

Hey all! This past weekend the lady that grooms our dogs was out of town. Momma is the lady that is paid to take care of her dogs. She has in the area of 15-20 dogs. But it is pretty easy job. You feed the ones in the big pens. Then you feed the ones in the kennels. Clean out the runs that are connected to the kennels. While momma does that if there are any puppies me and my sister get to play and socialize them. The groomer this time, had two sets of puppies and a mother that was due that weekend. So me and Hannah had plenty of lil fuzz balls to play with. would you guys like some pictures? okay..here they are

cute doggies I know...anyways

I have tooth that I am going to have to have taken care of...its a permanent one and it is giving me fits..its already had a temporary filling put in it. But that was years ago! So now I need it permanently filled. That is going to be a chore and cost $$$$.

Wednesday night was our first night at a new church. My parents felt that it is the Lord's will for us to change Churches. We went to a church that is about 30 minutes away. I had a lot of fun. We played broom hockey to begin with. That was fun, I didn't even get hit! Then we had a Bible study. That was very good. All in All I'm glad I went. I will just have to wait and see what happens if this is going to be the church we attend regularly or not.

Happy thanksgiving everybody!

Lock in anyone?

Hi Ho Cherrio!

Well, I sit here groggy because I just stayed up all Night at Adventure Landing! I have slept some since then, but just enough to get by and not enough to keep me from sleeping tonight. Adventure Landing for those of you who don't know is a place that has Go Carts, Putt Putt (mini golf) courses, Batting Cage, Arcade Games, and Lazer tag. I did all three golf courses, waited in line forever at the Go Carts and drove them twice. I was pretty good at it if I do say so myself. I also played the arcaid games. There was one in particular that I liked. It was a Skate boarding one. I can skate board on it and not get hurt when I mess up! what was hillarous was the first time I get on the thing I start doing the MAJOR trick just by "Spassing out on the thing" (so Nick said). He couldn't believe what I was doing.. I didn't do to bad...but why it said that I was SO a dope..I don't know....

This past week I have been busy taking pictures as well. OUr next door neighbors have gotten a new trailor (the kind you live in). So they have been busy moving the old one out and then moving the new one in. Not to menchen all the things that need to be hooked up...New septic tank..siding...trim..water...electricity...the inspectors..and all that fun stuff! It has been neat to see and I have learned a lot. The people working have not had a problem at all explaining how things worked when I asked smart and thought out questions.

What kind of Arcade games do you like to play? Are they thinking ones or just the reaction sort? Have you ever watched a proffesional work on your house? If so, did you learn anything?

Who said adults aren't fun?

Hey everybody! I spent the coolest few days in Richmond VA! It was great! We went up to see some old college buddies of my mothers. These ladies are hilarious! We went because this past weekend there was a craft show in Richmond that one of my mom's friends goes as a vendor. She makes rubber stamps. The buddy thats a vendor has 3 ladies that come with her to help. We then stay with another buddy of my mother's who lives in Richmond. So its like a mini reunion. The lady we stay with likes working with teens and is SO much fun! anyways..The Events went something like this...

Thursday, we arrived in Richmond at 5 something PM. We talked and goofed off till midnight...yes midnight!

Friday, we went to the craft show and spent most of the day wondering around looking at everything and buying a lil bit too... Friday night we went to Ruby Tuesdays with the whole gang. We heard many funny storys. The banter between everybody was just as entertaining. After we ate we went to the hotel the Vendor ladies were staying at. We played a card game for several hours. The banter continued as did the strange and funny stories! I think we laughed more then we played...thankfully we didn't get in trouble. Even though we did have an aduence for at least a little bit.

Saturday, early rising we headed out for a water aerobics class that the lady we were staying with takes. It was fun! Except there were some of the things we used that pushed up with more weight then I weigh out of water...much less in water....so it made things fun and interesting. I am not sore but my carpel tunnel wrists were not all that thrilled with some of the strain. That afternoon after playing Uno Blitzo and Uno Madness (that game really is MADNESS!) we headed home.

WE did have a slight problem there and back. When we got home we discovered that our transmission had lost a gear or two. We took it in today and it needs to be rebuilt. That is going to cost a pretty penny. Please pray that the Lord will show us what to do, either rebuild the transmission or to buy a new car.

What has been your experiences with your parent's old friends from high school and college? Anything interesting?

The fab weekend of nothing-ness!

This weekend was interesting. Saturday I basicly just was lazy...it was wet and mushy outside so that I couldn't go to the dump..and I really didn't want to work in the mud either. Come Saturday evening however, I went to an interesting get together.

It was a deaf/youth rally at Blended Fellowship. They did a lot of black light stuff and signing. I learned many things and for the most part enjoyed it. The music was not what I would have perfered but I did learn much. Like how to sign James 1:22a in ASL.

Sunday was like a lot of sundays. After the evening service though was a little bit different. We went to McDonalds like we normally do. Nick some how got a free icecream sunday. I stole his spoon bc he had moved his stuff closer to me since my dad was giving him a hard time. We fought of the thing for several minutes. He even threatened to bite me. But I told him he could go ahead I wasn't going to let go. He gave me this look like I can't believe you just said that. When he asked nicely and said please I let him have it. so yeah..it was interesting.

Have you had any experience with ASL (American Sign Language)? Do you have a Sunday Night after church hang out? If so I want to hear about it!

Lets go Babysitting!....or not....

Well, today I was suposed to go and babysit two preschool age girls while their mother went on a feild trip with her youngest son. Well, it was a normal october 1st grader feild trip. They were going to go a farm that has a pumkin patch and all that good stuff. Well, this ment me getting up early and getting ready so that I could be picked up by the family b4 school started. Well, I was up and ready to go, and it was raining outside. The lady called and said she was on her way to pick me up but there was a good chance that the field trip was going to be canceled because of rain. I am picked up and we head to the school to drop the kids off. I sat in the car with the girls while the mother ran in to see if the field trip is on or not. Come to find out it was called off. So she brought me back home. So yeah..it was interesting. I got a ride all over the northern part of the county. I then came home and took a nap because I had not gotten to bed till late last night. Oh, well. Maybe next time I will be able to go and play with the little kids toys!

Have you ever babysat? If so, what is the most interesting time you've had babysitting? If you have never been a babysittter, have you yourself been babysat? Do you have any intersting stories to tell about the times you had a babysitter? I sure hope you didn't tie them to a chair and make a mess of the house!

Sunday Teen Time

First off..there are probably some of you out there that just read. I call you guys lurkers..well anways. Feel free to comment on anything and everything around here...don't be shy, I don't bite!

Anyways. After church on Sunday night once a month the teens go over to someones house and play games and eat for about two hours. Well, this time we didn't go to somebodies house..bc its like a 15-30 min ride there and back. So we went to the Military Christian Center instead. They had a fire going in the back. We roasted hot dogs and marshmellows..and had smores too! It had been so long since I just sat and watched a fire! Its so nice to just sit there and watch it change...I never noticed that there will some times be little flames like candles put off mixed in there with the bigger flames. I would have sat there all night if they would have let me. But I was soon asked to go inside to play foose ball and ping pong. Neither of which I seemed to be able to play well or did I enjoy...idky. things just didn't seem to be enjoyable to play. I was enjoying watching the fire much more. oh well. I did have a pretty good time..I wasn't able to figure out how long to leave my marshmellow in the fire so that it was warm but not flaming. If you like your marshmellows on fire, fine with me. Just don't ask me to eat it. I perfer my things warmed or cooked, not charbroiled black. YUCK! anyways.

When was the last time you cooked hotdogs or marshmellows over a fire? When was the last time you had a smore, no matter if it was cooked camping style or microwaved?

A God thing..

Yesterday I went to the recycle center with my dad and sister to take care of our garbage. Well, I saw a family that was getting rid of an old Nintendo..you know the orignal ones? I thought if Daddy wasn't in such a hurry I could go through and look at the games and stuff..and if it worked either make money off of it or take it to my Uncle who still has an orignal Nintendo that works and works well. When I got home it was still bothering me..the recycling center isn't all that far up the road..I asked to ride my bike up there. My parent's said that I could. So I did..I road my bike back up there. The problem was the dumpster it got put in was closed up. The man wouldn't let me climb in and get them either...I almost cried when he told me not to. I headed home..no reason to stick around.. As I road home I fought back tears. It had been a pretty good ride. And it seemed all for nothing. Well, all the way there, and most of the way back a song from a kid's CD I have listened to a million times had been running through my head. The part of the song that was going through my head goes something like this:

King Ahab went a walking
In royal garments fair.
And saw a lovely vinyard
While gazing through the land.
He said,
"I've got to have it.
"I always get my way!"
And when he couldn't get it
He pouted all the day.
The poochie lip will get you
if you don't watch out
the poochie lip will get you
if you start to pout
so don't be like Ahab
and control that lower lip
and chase away the poochie lip disease
The Lord showed me when I was almost home through this song that I need to get over it. Its just stuff. Nothing worth any value in the real scheme of things. I felt silly over it. but it was so cool to see the Lord show me stuff like that!

Hello!

Hi everybody,

This was suggested to me by a friend of mine. I had tried this once before and it didn't last all that long. But I think I will try again. Seems like a good idea..

Well, what has happened recently? Well, today I helped my dad fix the trailor that had been broken from carring to much glass. I also helped him change out the stove hood. (that's the thing that is above your stove that sucks all the hot air out) This one works without complaing to us AND we don't have to bang it to work. Isn't that great?!?!?!?! yeah..I know..I'm strange.

Coming up in this life of mine...lets see..I babysit thursday. Thats always interseting. I have church tomorrow and wednesday...that seems to be it for right now. Something else my crop up that I will end up doing. I'll keep you posted!
