Spring Break

I was told something interesting this week by an aquaintance of mine. He told me I should get a blog and share my many thoughts with as many people as I can. I thought about it. I wouldn't know what ideas of mine to share. Then a thought hit me. It was my thoughts that were good that he wanted me to share. It was Biblical priniciples that he was talking about me sharing. Its the simple Principles of My Lord Jesus Christ that have been imparted to me by my parents and grandparents and family members. How can I take credit for ideas that aren't mine? They are God's laws and principles, not ideas that some teenager has thought up! I am no where near smart enough to think up these things. I am nothing but dirt and water, nothing at all. I think that is all I will say this week. No reason to be selfish and tell you about my week.

I would like to hear from you guys though. I want to know what you guys think about this post. Are there any principles that you would like to hear about? Any moral things to be talked about? I am tired of carrying on what seems like a one way conversation. If you are reading, let me know what you think about this stand.

Happy Easter....a day late...

This past week has dragged by. At least after tuesday morning it dragged by. Monday while Matthew was at school we went to Punxsutawny PA to see the groundhog named Phil. While we were there we realized that there was 32 of these fiberglass groundhogs who were like...5 feet tall. They are all painted differently. We ran around Punxy taking pictures of all the ones we could find. We bearly beat MAtthew home from school. We played video games the rest of the day. I don't think I have ever enjoyed playing video games as much as I did that day.

Tuesday was a long ride back to DC. In DC we watched a movie called Suhara. It was really an interesting movie. We also played five crown. Hannah won, Rebecca came in second and I came in last. At least I think thats the way it went...lol

When we got home wednesday I really didn't want to get back in the car but I had to to go to church. I enjoyed church a lot. It is nice to be home but I miss my friends! To bad I can't just have all my friends live in the same neighborhood? That would be nice!

What is the one dream you have that you wish could come true?

Surprises!

Hey all! I have had such a hard time the past week and a half keeping my mouth shut! I had been planning a surprise for Matthew who was turning 18 the 13th. But I was able to keep my mouth shut that I was able to pull it off! He had NO IDEA it was coming! It was so worth it! I sent him on a scavenger hunt too. It was so funny when he put his hands right where there was a clue or the object and didn't know it. We have played pirates several times already. He has beaten us mostly. But Hannah, His girlfriend and I all ganged up on him and beat him once! Yeah, he is still the master but when you loose every once in a while it makes winning all that much better.

Yesterday we went to his school to help with the set construction for an upcoming play. I stood under Matthew while I was painting and him painting above me. He dripped paint on me! So I went and got a piece of news paper and put it on my head while I painted. He then poked the paper with his brush just for the fun of it! I ended up stuck in the janitors closet for two hours washing paint brushes. It wasn't that there were THAT many brushes it was just that they kept coming and coming. I hate washing rollers those are a pain! By the time I left that post I was soaked from my knees down and had sprayed myself in the face with the hose. It was fun I was just glad that I had time to dry off b4 we left. WE went to the mall too. There is a store in there named DEB and is the PINKEST thing I have ever seen in my life. It makes you sick to look at it, and I like pink! Its like the cotten candy or something that you get and is just WAY to sweet.

I can't wait to see what other fun things we do before we leave on tuesday!

Revival and youth rally

Hey all! This week has seemed like one early morning after another. First day I had another dentist appointment, second day we went to Chapel at a Christian school near by, third day My sister and I had eye exams, fourth day we went back to chapel and helped set up for the youth rally, and finally the fifth day we got to sleep in!

We had revival Sunday through Wednesday night this week. It was really good! I am glad we were able to make it out each night. Not only were the services good but the evanglist was funny. The Evanglist stayed over thursday and preached at the youth rally thursday.

The rally had three churches from the area joining us. There were probably 50 teens. We played blind big ball vollyball and Human Clue. Volly ball my team lost, horribley but it was made up in Human Clue. Gina, two girls from another church and I were on a team. For the third time we won, even with less time and more things to figure out. We didn't get everything, just the most out of all the teams. I won a reese's cup. Nick asked for a bite and Hannah had asked for some. I came up with this wonderful idea, hold up a cup and let them both take a bite at the same time. Nick did not like that idea in the least! Hannah and everyone else in the car found it hilliarous. Nick protested that idea almost the whole way home!
