First off..there are probably some of you out there that just read. I call you guys lurkers..well anways. Feel free to comment on anything and everything around here...don't be shy, I don't bite!
Anyways. After church on Sunday night once a month the teens go over to someones house and play games and eat for about two hours. Well, this time we didn't go to somebodies house..bc its like a 15-30 min ride there and back. So we went to the Military Christian Center instead. They had a fire going in the back. We roasted hot dogs and marshmellows..and had smores too! It had been so long since I just sat and watched a fire! Its so nice to just sit there and watch it change...I never noticed that there will some times be little flames like candles put off mixed in there with the bigger flames. I would have sat there all night if they would have let me. But I was soon asked to go inside to play foose ball and ping pong. Neither of which I seemed to be able to play well or did I enjoy...idky. things just didn't seem to be enjoyable to play. I was enjoying watching the fire much more. oh well. I did have a pretty good time..I wasn't able to figure out how long to leave my marshmellow in the fire so that it was warm but not flaming. If you like your marshmellows on fire, fine with me. Just don't ask me to eat it. I perfer my things warmed or cooked, not charbroiled black. YUCK! anyways.
When was the last time you cooked hotdogs or marshmellows over a fire? When was the last time you had a smore, no matter if it was cooked camping style or microwaved?

last time i cooked a marshmallow? Hmm.... When I was on vaca in Maine this August. My uncle (whose house is next to the one we stayed at) has a little stovey thingamabob that you can cook marshmallows on. :) Its great fun.
Last time I cooked a hot dog over a fire was at the Bethel church picnic which was..... two weeks ago? two and a half. :)
And I went to a bonfire @ a family from my church's house.. It was soooo cool when Jay lit the thing, because he put so much gasoline on it that it literally exploded with a huge *boom* and all!!! (Jay is somewhat of a pyro. :)
So yeah... Thats the last time I did all that stuff!!!
